Week 7 News & Games

I mean, I’m up at 9 am to watch the game so I can imagine how hard it is to play at this time. I even had to invent a morning alcoholic drink.

Maybe there should be a minimum and maximum start time requirement when we travel so far in the new B1G.

It's utterly laughable that the broadcast would claim that losing this game would eliminate Bama from the playoff. Just total flim-flam fakery trying to inject stakes. They would be top 6-7 with one of the best resumes on the board.

The problem is that these struggles show that they might be pretty mediocre, which is trouble with @Tennessee, @LSU and @Oklahoma still on the schedule.

This is the NFL now. It's not about whether you win it's about whether you're good. Actually watching regular season games is competitively meaningless to the championship outcome.

I suppose we'll have to play make-believe for awhile before everyone gets it.

if they lost today after losing last week , they would no longer have a top 6-7 resume

As I said prior to the season, I think the hype surrounding Rutgers football was mainly created by people who hadn't watched Kaliakmanis play. I just have a very hard time trusting a team with him as QB.
he’s been average at best everywhere he’s been

Georgia, @Wisconsin, and then @Tennessee, @LSU and @Oklahoma

(Two losses would make them unlikely but by no means eliminated from the SEC title game btw)

All the big brands can lose twice, period, that's the new reality.

And paradoxically with the way the committee values good wins (which they should), losses to unranked teams hurt B1G/SEC teams LESS.
