Not going to make excuses for his play, but those end of the game shots of him l wouldn't be shocked if we heard he was dealing with illness. He looked completely spent
that could very well be true

it also could be true that it’s the look of a guy who played bad , and who’s team played bad,
because they were over matched in every aspect of the game from the get go

it’s over . good teams can play poorly sometimes . it just wasn’t meant to be .
we are a good team , but hardly a great team .

Oh good, so you are saying we will just keep beating Minnesota every year? Wish they were our protected rival instead of Northwestern or Purdue

Likely the quickest secondary he’s ever played against. I imagine that throws off his timing quite a bit and shakes the confidence.

Memorial Stadium Sellout Tracker update for Minnesota:
The ticket availability as it sits right now looks very similar to the where things ended with last year's Wisconsin game (54,205). With the pace of ticket sales this past week, a rough game on Saturday, and now a less than desirable game time for Minnesota, I don't see sales exploding this week. Perhaps another 1,000 sold between now and Saturday. You'll hear it from me if reality proves otherwise!

We are officially underdogs now this Saturday…..

I know I know. I over reacted to this past weekend right? Well… what are your thoughts now?

That you still overreacted to this past weekend.
The Oregon game score is completely irrelevant. I’m glad most of the media gets that versus our own fanbase (hence why we are still ranked). We also need to remind our fanbase we are now ranked 7 weeks in a row, the most since 2001. It’s simple, Bielema has done such a good job here that we have people thinking 9-10 wins is a possibility. In the end, it would feel awful to only get 7 now but sometimes we forget what times were like for so many years. Just an absolute incredible job by Bielema.

Yes

MD is a mess right now and Minny seems to be putting things together a bit
Very difficult to assess. USC folded at the end against Minnesota, and Minnesota barely escaped UCLA. MD is very bad this year for most part. I put Minnesota in the middle tier of the B1G, which is right around where we are. If Oregon played Mimnesota last week and we went to Maryland instead, I am sure we would all be saying Minnesota is terrible. Oregon is just that much better than everyone else in B1G right now. The key is that we have Minnesota at home.

Ugh, how has this Minnesota game conspired to become a trap game? It looked perfectly placed after Oregon.
How is Minnesota a trap game? It's probably the toughest game remaining on the schedule and we're coming off a blowout loss... Not sure we have a conventional trap game left where we're looking ahead a week and overlook an opponent. The closest one in my opinion would be Northwestern if we somehow made it to 9-2 as there'd be a bunch of possible playoff talk taking away focus from that game. Other than that, I have a difficult time seeing us overlook anyone.

cool

they've won their last three, we have a way worse injury situation, we just got done getting our $$$$$ whooped and they just got done hanging 50 on a solid b10 team coming who was coming off a win vs USC. quite a difference.

if not for home field, there's relatively nothing to be confident about here.

going 10-2 would be really, i mean, REALLY unlikely (don't have an idiom). would be SHOCKED if it gets to 8+.

6 and at most 7 wins (which is not a disappointment or anything it's just what's likely to come).
Your doom and gloom aside, at least your username is satisfied.

One point better, at home, than Ohio State. But probably that much better than everyone else with the exception of Ohio State and Penn State

We will survive. Maryland collapse every year. Locksley is best as a career assistant. Minnesota is not a good team. Will be close, but we will go to 7-2.
