Interest take by Evan Miya - JMO these stats are moving targets. His conclusions are backwards looking and portal is getting more dominant.

Duke -9 leaving, 2 returning 18 ppg total, 4 portal in, 6 HS in
UCONN - 5 leaving, 7 returning 32 ppg, 2 portal in, 3 HS in
Purdue 5 leaving, 8 returning 40 ppg, 0 portal in, 4 HS in
Illinois - 10 leaving, 2 returning 9 ppg, 7 portal in, 2 HS in
Alabama 7 leaving, 5 returning 52 ppg, 4 portal in, 4 HS in
NC State 6 leaving, 6 returning 34 ppg, 4 portal in, 2 HS in
Iowa State 7 leaving, 7 returning 52 ppg, 4 portal in, 2 HS in

Duke and Illinois are lowest in returning player and returning scoring. However amass talent is #1 indicator and both did very well. Especially if Illinois gets Riley.

They’ve lost quite a few NIL pledges already according to someone on their staff … Lost over $2 million in NIL they thought they were gonna have going forward …

Here's to hoping it increases to $20 million after next season

I’m surprised he moved up. I sure hope he ends up as a 5 star, but he will need to be a much more consistent shooter. He really struggled from 3 during EYBL.

Definitely, but Kevin Durant was rail skinny when he entered the NBA. While Riley seems to be very talented, he also appears to have a “swag” we need.

For sure, strength can be as important as bulk

Durant was 6'9 204 out of HS vs 6'8 178 for Riley, so some bulk would be nice..

Remember a skinny Chet Holmgren in college who became a lottery pick.He’s still just 7’0 @ 195 .

Yup, wouldn't be surprised if Riley is already on Fletch's program *if* he's already committed.. Physical development was probably one of the bigger selling points given how skilled he already is
