Boswell is a "true" point guard. That doesn't mean he doesn't look to score.I'm not sure any of these guys are "true PGs". They all are more combo guards. Kylan maybe the closest thing to a true PG, but even he will look for his from time to time. He's not necessarily a pass first guy.
They can all distribute when needed and can all score when needed. There is no reason you couldn't play 3 of them at a time.
Think 2005 Illini. More recently, Scott Drew's Baylor teams... Bunch of combo guards. Lots of wins.
Would Kylan, Jeremiah & Jasper all mesh? Only 40 minutes a game at the 1… not to mention Kasparas & DGL…
1. I’m freaking ready …
2. It starts Sunday …
3. This is just the beginning …

Kylan is going to have to be WAY better than he was at Zona for that to happen. Hope it happens, but that would be a major, major jump. There’s certain guys who think Kylan could have a good enough year to go pro … Jeremiah is gonna come in and play … But you can have those 3 and run offense through all 3 without issue …
And as for the other two … Playing time gonna be tough to come by and we will recruit over you if you don’t perform …
It’s good, but I prefer Detlef Schrempf.People have just finally heard that it’s an awesome song by Band of Horses
Good news, just think having so many ties to Kentucky would be hard to pull off.
It's nearly impossible to overrate what Henson did for the program. He took miserable Illini basketball and gradually developed it into a regular appearance in the NCAA tourney. it was about 1975 he landed Levi Cobb, an elite Chicago star. He was mending fences with Chicago coaches and Levi was for sure important.
Yes - in the 80's Lou and Jimmy had multiple McD AA players coming on a regular basis! We forget how great we had it back then
Going for a good soak.Demin and Catchings. Wow!
What’s in the water in the Great Salt Lake these days?
All this talk about KY...
and it might be most likely prediction wise that he ends up there...but, from the outside looking in, don't think they're the one to strike fear in this recruitment. Not with Pope.
Baylor probably though because they have his HS coach. Don't really like the idea of them becoming a real player here. Scott Drew has had some real good 5 star guys there - Kendall Brown, JaKobe Walter, Missi, Keyonte George, VJ this coming year...
Agreed. If he makes the kind of jump necessary to TRULY be on NBA radars following next season, Illinois will have had a fantastic year.Kylan is going to have to be WAY better than he was at Zona for that to happen. Hope it happens, but that would be a major, major jump.
But why are recruiting the same player as the Mississippi Valley St Delta Devils???With a offer sheet like this,he must be good/s
I, for one, think we should continue to stockpile 5 stars.Top 4 for Jasper … Illinois, UK, Baylor, Bama …
Arkansas is out … They’ve pretty much zeroed in on Acuff … But I think Acuff goes elsewhere … But even then, Jasper is more connected with O than Cal … They’d be 5th at best …

Where have I seen 3 guards that can handle the ball all on the floor at the same time? 2005 maybe? Not saying it will be that again BTW.There’s certain guys who think Kylan could have a good enough year to go pro … Jeremiah is gonna come in and play … But you can have those 3 and run offense through all 3 without issue …

I'm guessing you're not the only one.I, for one, think we should continue to stockpile 5 stars.
