Just watching Davis' skill and technique in shooting the ball from the arc, the sky is the limit. What he will show in the myriad of other contributions is a big ? at this time....but we will know before Christmas.
I don’t know where the minutes are going to come, I really don’t. However, you can NEVER have too much shooting. He can shoot on the move and with guys in his face. That is a rare skill in college basketball. Defensively he plays hard. He’ll throw his body around and draw charges. I really hope he is able to carve out a roll this year.

Some good players are not going to see the floor much if at all.

Like Domask, I think he’s coming in way underrated as a 3 star transfer. Thinking he’ll surprise a lot of folks just like Marcus did.
Dramatically less experienced of course and is probably a redshirt candidate on this roster, but I really like his offensive game, a big time skill level that fits what BU wants to be on offense perfectly.

Demin and Catchings. Wow!

What’s in the water in the Great Salt Lake these days?

If he doesn't redshirt he probably gets minutes similar to Essegian at Wisky last year. Check in some games if he can get on a heater, if not back to the bench. But no consistent, reliable role most games.

Coleman wanted to get drafted. Illinois told him if you want to come back we need to know now because we have options and can’t wait. Coleman couldn’t/wouldn’t commit. Illinois moved on.

I agree with you about Davis. But I want to add that in some of the film I've seen, he's attacking the rim and finishing. I think there might be more to his game than just shooting from distance. Something we never saw from Goode, who was exclusively catch and shoot.

Insiders said we had money both for him and Domask. I'd assume that if Coleman made it clear that he was coming back to us before we went on our Euro shopping spree we would've had more than enough to take care of him.
I doubt Coleman would’ve gotten $2 million from Illinois at that point or even afterward. If Coleman told BU when BU wanted to know, the going rate at that time would’ve been much less.
