I saw Indy brought up Meleek Thomas earlier...

Probably too early to tell, but how much of a shot do you think we got here? Some real hefty comp here. If we're able to land the top 2 prospects in HS BB...both being top 10 players...Holy Cow...

The fit wouldn't be too much of a problem IMO - we've had 3 guard Starting 5s before: Trent, Adam, Ayo in '21...Curbelo, Trent, Plummer in '22...

Kylan, Kasparas, Meleek would be perfect IMO...

They can talk whatever they want … From their couch in March … 🤷🏻‍♂️

They wanted Cal gone because he can’t make the 2nd weekend anymore … Just to hire a guy who has NEVER made the 2nd weekend … 😂😂😂

No one fears Mark Pope on the recruiting trail … He did not win a single high profile recruitment this off season … Not one …
If Brad puts together another 2nd weekend team you gotta assume his salary end up top 3 ($7-9M) no?

Whooooa.....

Put a couple of Final Fours in there and then those numbers make sense.

I LOVE BU. He's brought us back from the depths of sub mediocrity. HOWEVER, a top 3 coach doesn't put you into the 2nd weekend a second time, then we celebrate the accomplishment. A top 3 coach puts the program at a level where we're shocked when we don't get into the second weekend.

One other thought on getting Riley…we are currently counting on 2 overseas guys to come in and play significant roles next year. And each of them carries some risk as far as being eligible to play. For instance, T’s brother wasn’t eligible until January I believe. Without Riley, I think we could tread water without one or both of those guys. But with Riley I think we are still a top 25 team.

Hopefully both guys have no eligibility issues. But if we get Riley I think we can get a good seed regardless of what happens on the eligibility front.

That's exactly how that works.

BU is the 8th highest paid coach in college basketball. The 7 in front of him have all been to Final Fours and 4 have won the whole thing.

One COULD argue that prior to last year, he didn't meet expectations for the salary that he was making.

It’s going to be such a great thing to have a true 7 feet 1 inch rim protector and a seasoned point guard.

Our team will look as different than it has in a long time, for sure since 2005 and maybe ever.

Starters will be all great shooters and will go like this: 7’1”, 6’9”, 6’9”, 6’6” and 6’2”. That is crazy.

Haven't heard anything about this. So I'll take it as no news is good news
