I think it was @Indy Illini Fan way back when who said they had donors who were going to pay for Domask..well no domask and willing to bet that money is still available if Brad wants to use it. Money won’t be an issue here.

I just watched several Riley clips. Kid is uber talented. He's also very skinny. He'll need body by Fletcher work if we land him to gain strength and muscle mass if he goes to work in the BIG. Would love to get him, even if it's for '25. If we get him now, he'll probably take minutes from White, Kasparas and Davis even if he doesn't start. Hoping his connection with OA seals the deal on his visit today.
Ultimately, this is the question.
Seems NIL money is fluid. The amount available is proportional to the quality, prestige and perceived value of the player, so in this case, I'd say yes.

Completely agree. I think ON3 and ESPN puts very little thought/analysis into these. I don't think there's any bias against Illini recruits. FWIW other fan bases make the same complaints about their recruits being too low (well likely not Duke or Kentucky cause it's hard to make that claim if your guys are ranked top 5 or 10).

DGL vs a top 25 kid is a no brainer for me (and I assume the staff since he's visiting). DGL is likely your 8th man.
