Any chance Humrichous can play small ball 5 (obviously match up dependent). Would expect him to be on the floor at the 5 against Goldin.

Is it just Big T and Morez for minutes at the 5?
I'd say maybe Ben as well in certain situations.

Is this Riley thing likely? Or just wishful thinking?

Was just reading about this. The production fired the original fit actor midway through the second season and the second “least fit” actor later said he thought they were just desperate to find anyone in a short amount of time and he was just in the right place at the right time.

Also… not gonna lie. In my youth, I had a big thing for Isis. 😎
He might be too big a project even for Fletch.

Showing my age, but I get this reference!
With BU as Mentor. And yes... Isis: cue GIF of Homer Simpson drooling.

Loved that Winnebago with the lightning bolt on the front. Brings back fond memories of wasted Saturday mornings in the mid-'70s, my dad scolding me to unslacken my nine-year-old jaw, turn off the boob tube, and go outside and do something productive!

Even without Riley, this offseason has been a success in my eyes with all the players who left and our staff needing to almost replace an entire starting five.

Brad continues to show that his best trait is his flexibility and willingness to adapt on the fly, whether it's with his in-game schemes or roster construction plans.

Fun Fact: Breaking Bad was just a dark retelling of Billy, the Mentor and the Winnebago. 😎

Isn't Meleek Thomas visiting this week as well? Isn't his visit somewhere around June 7? Thought I saw somewhere...might be wrong...

If that's the case...y'all "visit managers" got your hands full.

A starting lineup this year of: Kylan, Kasparas, Riley, Ben, Tomsilav/Morez.

And next year of: Kylan, Thomas, Kasparas, Riley, Tomislav/Morez (hope Riley and Kasparas have the versatility to make this happen...right?).

Some guys like Ty and Tre might end up leaving but...

That's pretty good...
Fears starts from day 1................JMHO..........................

Starters:
Boswell
KJ
Riley
Humrichous
Ivisic

Bench:
Ty
Tre
Rez
DGL
Booth
Davis?

Redshirt:
Jakstys and I could potentially see Davis redshirting as well ...

Fears joining mid year is also very much on the table as well ... I don't know if it will happen but we will be keeping 1 open just in case for that or the potential Dainja type situation that could happen as well ...

That would be without a doubt the most talented roster top to bottom that Brad has had during his tenure ... There is potentially 4-5 NBA guys on that roster ...
@Indy Illini Fan

I understand Riley (5*) and starting but what about Morez (nearly 5*) and starting? I know I know - it is less about starting and more about PT but the optics are similar

Last I heard, it might be down to Michigan or St. John's for a Jamir Watkins transfer. I hope the kid made the right decision to opt out of the Draft, but I sure don't want him to play for Michigan. I'd much prefer that he play for Slick Rick and St. John's.

For Ty it's simple. He is a legitimate NBA prospect if he shoots 33%+ from 3. If he can't get there then he's not.

And if he's not doing that by his Sr year while IL is bringing in top 25 players? It's likely that top 25 freshman will take his spot.

Hopefully he's doing what he needs to succeed.
