Riley might mean more time at backup guard for a Rodgers, which could still work with every other position able to shoot.

At the end of the day we’d have 11 guys with a shot at minutes and 10 with more eligibility after next season. They will all have to battle for minutes and inevitably some will lose minutes. Some will be unhappy and transfer at the end of the year.

If junior Rodgers cant beat Fresh Riley, then Riley is a stud or Rodgers hasn’t improved. Same for DGL.

FWIW I hate the new system, but it is what it is.

I’ll say a lot of small ball worked well in a lot of games but in the finals bigs dominated.

High on them as 4 year players that can help this team win, imo. Doesn’t mean they will be superstars, and not everyone will be.

I’m really curious about the ivisic guy because he is 21 and 230-250lbs from the rumors and Morez was a monster from birth.Im excited by the flexibility…

Completely agree. I think ON3 and ESPN puts very little thought/analysis into these. I don't think there's any bias against Illini recruits. FWIW other fan bases make the same complaints about their recruits being too low (well likely not Duke or Kentucky cause it's hard to make that claim if your guys are ranked top 5 or 10).

Would the NBL really be a better option than playing for one of the most elite college programs in the US? I don't see how that would be a major option like these guys are saying.
