I hope I'm wrong.but KJ looks more like a plodder to me.Looks slow and not very athletic.I think quick athletic players will give him alot of trouble.Again hope I'm wrong, but that's what I see in his highlights.

Looking ahead at 2025… Kylan, Jeremiah, Morez, Booth, Kasparas, Tre…. That’s 6 guys who all could end up having a cup of coffee in the NBA…
I have no urge to look ahead to 2025. I'm much too old for that. I'm just grateful each time I wake up in the morning. This is also one of those posts that lists Kasparas on our roster. Are we that sure?

This was their championship game I think...? Great game. Hugo Gonzalez is real good.

People were talking about Traore being really good...he probably is not doubting that...but he didn't look too good in the clutch. Dribbled the time out and left only about 3 seconds on both the last possessions in Reg. and OT - didn't seem too smart...

As much as we wanna say Kasparas is better...Egor's pretty darn good. His D on the last possession and in this game was great. Had a great offensive game as well. Looks like a 6"8 cheat code at times. Def. lottery pick good - no doubt about that.

Hope Kasparas can prove to be a valuable consolation prize...
I love Egor’s game.

I disagree, he's doesn't look super vertically explosive but doesn't look slow or like a plodder at all.

Looks like moves significantly better than Domask which means he will be fine and I wouldn't even call Domask a plodder. Domask had a great first step and I thought Domask was pretty similarly athletic to Malcolm Hill.

Feel like it's just a focus because he's white. Sidenote, the two best basketball players in the world are White guys that aren't overly explosive.

Additionally, Coleman was a great athlete for his size and moved well but he didn't jump very well.

That’s why egor is a projected lottery pick and KJ isn’t. He’s average athletically but is very skilled. His game will translate to college bball

It was reported he would not get through admissions.
To be fair - I thought it was Jaylen Wells that had admissions questions as well as Riley Kugel when he was briefly mentioned

I think we cooled on Kelly just because we are going after better players

Weekend update on the transfer portal if anyone still cares about non-Euro players- Wagner officially to Arkansas, Lanier officially to Tenn

Really just Lathon, Monsanto, Mongolian Mike and whoever drops out of the draft this week left as targets

So...how does he continually beat guys downcourt for layups? He may be one of the faster guys end to end, as he's 6'5" with long strides. And he's plenty athletic enough to get to where he wants on the court. How old is he? 17? Were you all together at 17, especially if you had grown to 6'5"?

IMHO he'll do!

Now Demin has the reputation of being a bit of a plodder, but he's also 6'8" or 6'9"...and very young.

In ANY case, we'd be extremely lucky to land either of them, with KJ being in a position of greater need.

Those are artificial rules. Dan’s post is always #1 on the thread so the next person is always #2. The people who post #1 as #2 are probably also staunch supporters of participation trophies and have contributed to the weakness of our current culture. S/ or whatever you are supposed to do to indicate sarcasm.
Dan's post is always #1. The next post is #1 reaction to Dan's post. The next post is #1 to that post etc. etc. etc. Everyone who posts a number gets a participation ribbon. No /s intended... /s

I admittedly don’t scour the twitter-verse deeply for info on this, but I haven’t seen anyone a lot of movement or heard much on players withdrawing from the draft. I think the date is May 29th/30th so I thought there might be some early movement. Any news there about Watkins?
