I don't think any basketball numbers are retired. Maybe that will change with the expanded numbering starting this season. In the old days you did not want to run out of 0-5 combinations.

Kofi as an incredible post defender but not really a traditional rim protector like Mtumbo.
Coleman and TSJ could block some shots.
I am excited about the athleticism and size on this years team - Booth 6'10" , White 6'7" , Ivisic 7'1" , Rogers 6'6" , Riley 6'8" Hamrichous 6'9". Might see some shot blocking like the 89 flying Illini

Any insiders got a a feel on how Humrichous fared during the practice sessions? Of all the players, he was seemingly the one who was hyped the least.
What about Boswell? Interested to know about him. Word seemed to be that he might've had some "hiccups" early on.

I just checked the MSG site and it's showing no events for February 22, 2025. They must not have posted it yet.

Yeah I checked there and a few other places. Seat Geek, Illini sites, etc.... couldn't find anything. Thought perhaps I'd missed something.
I think it's good when guys wear past players' numbers so soon because it shows they're challenging themselves to provide as much value as the previous wearer.
Both teams *should* be playing their best ball at that point, should make for a great game. Dukes gonna be TOUGH
