Or going in for number -106.5 in the Roman leagueIt won’t help if Morez knows how to spell I-V-I-S-I-C. He will just tell the scorer’s table “I’m going in for 51”.
I also wonder if money to buy out a coach at L'ville counts as revenueI believe Robert addressed this topic at some point in the past two years. Quite a bit of the incoming revenue can be justifiably split among multiple sports programs within the school. Unfortunately, the methodologies used to split those dollars differ among colleges/universities. Hence we find ourselves often comparing apples to oranges. (Example: Illinois might direct more of the "gray area" revenue to basketball, whereas Wisconsin may direct it towards football.)
Semi-related note, it is interesting to look at Illinois compared to Wisconsin on this site. This is overall athletic revenue for 2022:I believe Robert addressed this topic at some point in the past two years. It surely does not.I also wonder if money to buy out a coach at L'ville counts as revenue
Well said young man.A Jakucionis interview came out on one of the Lithuanian basketball news sites. Tried to translate the relevant part as accurately as I could.
Illinois/NCAA related part:
"The conditions to get better are freaking great. I really value the practices for developing individual skills. In the USA you can have as many of them as you want. You can invite 2 or even 5 coaches and they will help you practice individually, throw some balls to you. You can do that 24/7. I really liked that. All the facilities, for physical training etc. My decision was based on that. Possibilities as well - after all the USA basketball level is very good in the NCAA. When you compete against the BEST youth players, I think you get better the most."
Gotta love that endorsement for all the future talent coming out of LithuaniaA Jakucionis interview came out on one of the Lithuanian basketball news sites. Tried to translate the relevant part as accurately as I could.

lol, this is the best.
I love our coach, the staff he's assembled and the trajectory he has us on.
I think thats fair. Nobody is going to be Terrence and nobody should expect that. He just had the individual greatest single season in Illini history. The depth is unquestionably superb. The talent at the top of the roster might not be quite like it was last year - I mean...I wouldn't necessarily be willing to bet anyone doing what Terrence did (probably won't need anyone to be either) - but hope KJ, if he does indeed end up being that top guy, can prove to be a fine, solid alpha at this level.
McDonald’s on green street in the mid 80’s for Townies…lol
Just after the roll-out/introduction of Chicken McNuggets, I might add.........McDonald’s on green street in the mid 80’s for Townies…lol
OK, who told Brad about this board??

honestly, I bet it does if they got donors to put up the money, then it is money that came in & went out of basketball budget...but I think the buyout was a bit over 7 million over 3 years...so either way not going to move L-ville that much. think it is more a statement of how 1 time donations may affect this, such as when we updated Ubben I would think those funds would get added to Illinois basketball revenue for the year.It surely does not.
