doubt it.just listened to Illini inquirer podcast where they are talking about minutes and stat leaders. Barely a mention of Booth or Davis being in the mix, and considering they were two of the first transfers.. Any frustration bubbling for those guys yet and their apparent lack of PT?
They did say they’re not sure about ANYTHING, so…just listened to Illini inquirer podcast where they are talking about minutes and stat leaders. Yeh I was wondering about that. Thought about those guys when listening to the podcast. They did not even mention either of them. To early to tell. There is always some bad with the good though. Underwood has brought this program back from the dead. When I think about kids like Booth and Davis, they would be possible starters during the Groce years. As a matter of fact, Booth could probably start for a few BIG teams now. I don't know about Davis. Seems like a good kid and talented offensively. Hope he makes a dent and gets some P.T. On the other hand. We are now known as a BIG development program. Many kids are coming here to develop. Put on that extra weight or vice versa. Get coached up and then maybe move on. Bigger pay day down the road for both of these guys if they develop and get better. And I guess the creme de la creme would be if we won a league title this year or went to the final 4. Any kid would love to live that experience one time.just listened to Illini inquirer podcast where they are talking about minutes and stat leaders. It sounds like Muurinen won’t be playing for Finland but he’s over there with the team? Not sure why he’s there then. He’s not in their rosterFinland vs Lithuania - Group Phase - FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2024 | FIBA.basketball

Current Illini and some other school's recruiting trends makes you wonder how many years it will take until a top P4 school has an 'all-Euro' starting five.Rough day for Spanish Basketball 0-2. Can't wait to see Josh Giddey with the Bulls. Came up short vs Slovenia also, but I really like pg Saint- Supery, along with KJ, Traore, and Saraf- some excellent guards. Hope GA is enjoying Tampere.
Mercy, the kid can play. Just has an uncanny feel and makes the game look slow to him. Can’t wait!!
KJ playing right now
They were guessing the leaders in each stat category. Just because, say, Booth is not projected among the leading scorers, rebounders, assists, etc. doesn’t mean he won’t be in the rotation.just listened to Illini inquirer podcast where they are talking about minutes and stat leaders. yeah, I've only watched the past 2 games but he reminds me of Steve Nash the way he probes the defense, keeps his dribble alive, does not hesitate to initiate if something is there and his passes are on time and on targetMercy, the kid can play. Darn...

Hadn't thought of that comparison, but I like it.yeah, I've only watched the past 2 games but he reminds me of Steve Nash the way he probes the defense, keeps his dribble alive, does not hesitate to initiate if something is there and his passes are on time and on target
Wasn't his best game for himself at all. Pretty damn good player when you can impact the game like that without having your best stuff. Overall for Lithuania, not a huge loss, every single team advances to the round of 16 in the knockouts. Could make their path harder thoughDarn...
Not a good play at the end...but still...
18-6-6 for KJ though.
