Ummm, anyone else thinking what I’m thinking? (Cue Pinky and the Brain). No, seriously, Purdue bigs size advantage eliminated!!!
I think so, Brain. It’s just that I’m having trouble deciding which movie franchise showcases Orlando’s talents the best? The Lord of The Rings or The Pirates of The Caribbean?

I think so, Brain. I’m just surprised that Matthew Modine has aged so well.

I think so, Brain. 5 O’clock shadow just doesn’t have the same negative stigma it once had attached to it in the 1930s. Are Gem Micromatic Razor Blades even still a thing?

I think so, Brain…but I never much cared for fondue. For some reason it never agrees with me. Besides, where would we find a 3-tier fountain in this one horse town?

I think so, Brain… but if everyone in West Lafayette looks like a muskrat and smells a gerbil…how much balsa wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck balsa wood?

I think we will have 2 legitimate 5s. Ivisic and Morez. Ivisic may be a nightmare to guard. He can score down low, as you'd expect, but I've also seen him knock down mid range and long range jumpers.
Agree. Even beyond the talent that some of the newcomers have, I just like the roster makeup this coming year more than last. Now, of course, team has to come together like last year’s team did to perform as well — or hopefully better.

Yep. And Morez will be important to spell Ivisic if he is tired or in foul trouble. Hopefully Morez can develop 3 point shot. I’ve not seen him shoot from perimeter in his videos. Maybe he has?

Morez is going to come in and put the smack down against opponents second units. he may average double digit rebounds off the bench
Would be logical to me to play Morez based on matchups. Actually could apply to several positions. DGL on smaller guards for example.

Plus we have six great 3 point shooters - KJ, Kylan, Davis, Riley Humrichous and and Ivisic. I hope the chemistry comes together because the talent an depth is outrageous. Reminds me of the 89 Flying Illni that went 8 deep

Unless he's left wide open I doubt we see Morez take any 3's, at least this year
The way we play that is sufficient to pull the opposing 5 away from the lane, there by taking away the shot blocker. If you sag off him and leave him open you know he can hit the perimeter shot….you keep opposition honest.

Could 85 be low? I know some teams in the B1G like to slow it down, but this team appears to be loaded offensively.

In 2004, we all knew that we would be good and we were even ranked #1 by one of the pre-season services. I immediately took mental shelter, never having had nice things before and I dampened my expectations. My enthusiasm did not reach fever pitch until the Wake Forest game.

Last year, I expected us to be good, but 10 years in the desert, wandering around post-Bruce and post-Groce had left me skittish. I still wasn't really ready for the season.

This year, as we appear to me to be loaded and at the same time under the radar, I have a chip on my shoulder and I'm totally psyched for the season. I hope I'm not going too far the other way, expecting more than we can deliver. But I'm jumping on this bandwagon with both feet, expecting and dreaming of great things.

It feels good.

BU was fine with letting Amani take 3s last year and I think Morez is about equal if not better at this point as a shooter. Amani obviously struggled to make those shots in games but that seemed to be because the game was too fast for him not a skill problem.
