I might have missed it, but does anyone know who the officials are on Sunday? (Please no DJ, Larry, or Bo)

Sure, though cannabis is still illegal in Indiana so it's a somewhat different situation than what you have in Illinois.
I love how medical marijuana, recreational marijuana, and use of either of these anywhere/anytime all seem to get lumped together in the minds of many of the imbibers if they are in a state where it is "legal."

If Plummer gets HOT again like he was in the 1st half against Purdue, it is inexcusable to not get him (or Kofi (because Plummer might be getting double-teamed)) the ball the next 6 to 8 times down the floor.
Never understood why coaches pull players when they are hot, hitting two or three in a row. Why not let them play til they miss?

I'm reminded this morning, as we salivate over Purdue's humiliation and our chances of taking the regular season title, of a scene in Pulp Fiction containing a quote too vulgar to repeat on Loyalty. It's from the lips of Winston Wolf as Jules and Vincent admire their handiwork in cleaning up some carnage in the back of Vincent's car. It captures the folly of prematurely congratulating ourselves when serious work remains to be done and we're not not out of the woods quite yet.

Just do a search on "Winston Wolf let's not start" and you can enjoy the full scene. I know I'm an old man, but it remains one of my favorites 37 years on. True wisdom, and exactly how I feel about the challenge of the final seven games. IMO, Jules and Vincent had a less arduous (that's for you, @pruman91 ;)) path to safety than we do.
Excellent film, excellent quote reference (one of my favorites from a film chock full of them), but that classic turns a mere 28 this year, good sir 😉

So looking at schedules, we have 3 very winnable home games and 3 really hard road games. If we don’t stub our toe at home and can grab 1 out of 3 on the road, that puts us at 15-5.

Everyone has said Wisconsin has the easiest schedule, but I’m not so sure. They have road games at Rutgers and at Indiana, both tough places to play with teams that will be desperate for signature wins, plus Purdue at home. They would need to win 2 out of those 3 plus not stub their toe in any of their other games (I have their @Minnesota game circled as a classic trap game), to finish 16-4.

Purdue already has four losses so would have to win out, including at MSU and at Wisconsin, to finish 16-4.

I think we can get one of our 3 road games. Not sure if Wisconsin or Purdue can finish 16-4. Their game in Madison may decide if one team wins it outright or if multiple teams share.

In any event, we need to bring our A game on Sunday as NW has won 3 straight and I’m sure felt like they let one get away in Evanston. Should be a super fun last few weeks!

That was one of my complaints about Lou Henson. It seemed like as soon as someone got hot he would take them out.

Edit:somehow forgot about OSU. Still think 15-5
Is there for the taking though.

lol. Thank goodness. Saw it in early '95, IIRC. I'd say math isn't my strong point but, actually, it is. :ROFLMAO::oops:

I agree bring the A game and not let it be close. The schedule is kind to Purdy who will surprise me to get beat again short of the tournament so first place for us is going through this gauntlet without losing

First of all, each of the 7 remaining games is going to be tough. Given that, I think it would be prudent to hope for 4-0 at home and 1-2 on the road --- for a 15-5 finish. That should earn us two BYES in the Big10 tourney and maybe a tie for 1st place in the Big10 regular season (22-8 overall).

16-4 would be outstanding. 17-3 would be stellar.

17-3 would be historic. Not that we can’t win out, but with the 20 game conference schedule, 17 wins would be the conference record for most wins in a season.
