no one go on social media with a guarantee involving pet excrement and a red solo cup.

The Defense is really missing a Jer'Zhan Newton from being really good (instead of just ok). That's the issue with poor recruiting, you don't really reload when you lose impact players.

we held EIU to zero points
we held Kansas to 17 points

what were you hoping for ?

they look pretty good to me
top 10 nationally ? no
but pretty good anyway

let’s reserve judgment until after we play Nebraska with todays Johnny Football

Yeah, I also think this team looks “pretty good,” which is just fine for a roster dominated by juniors/sophmores. If they keep most of these guys around with another offseason of development, and fill the few holes with the increased NIL funds at their disposal, the squad could be VERY good next season. Just a reminder about the 2025 schedule:

Only tOSU, USC, and maybe Washington scare me a little next year. If we keep enough of our guys around, though, next season could be REAL special.

Making my prediction early this week, with Vegas currently saying the Illini -20.

31 ILLINI
17 CMU

A bit of a let down this week. We're never as good as our best win, nor as bad as our worst loss. Up to this point............2-0 in predicting the winner; also 2-0 against the spread.

If we can get to 3-0, let's try to then steal one of the next two on the road. 4-1 start would be awesome!

I agree with you Mr. Tibbs. Reason I used the ignore button for this person and others. Don't feed the trolls.

This is Pat's time to shine. 160+ yards with 3 TD's (y)

Bret Bielema: He may not have been exactly what most fans wanted at the time, but he was exactly what we needed. And now, I think most of us are glad we have him.

Full disclosure, I was one of those that gave it hard side eye in the beginning.
Also full disclosure, the (what's left of the) football fan inside me absolutely loved watching Wisconsin football during his time there.

I've pined for it every year of the BB era so far, and I see glimpses of it with KF. I know the game has changed pretty dramatically since then, but I still love that style of game. Helmet on helmet, we are going to punish you for four quarters. 🧡

Aww, hell naw! The last thing we need are players that target

Updated Sellout Tracker as of this morning. This is up about 1,000 tickets sold since my update Monday night. The driving change here is once again a change in my assumptions rather than truly tickets sold. You may have seen on Twitter that the 6,500 student allotment of season tickets has officially sold out. This would be the 4,350 seats in the NEZ and 2,100 in section 101. My tracker had been assuming some amount of unsold seats in section 101, but that will now show as completely sold out until the end of the season.

So I get a flyer for a family 4 pack for $89. But when I click "get the 4 pack" it lets me pick 4 seats but is charging full price. When does the charge reflect the lower price?

I think this game is on Peacock. If so, I'm pissed. We don't get Peacock. Damn it!

When selecting seats you will see a 4 pack option if it applies to those seats. It appears that the sections available are in the east balcony 201,202,207,208,209, and the horseshoe. Here is a screenshot of how it looks.

We are headed in the right direction. Trending towards 50,000 for an 11:00 am kick against Central Michigan is light years ahead of where we’ve been and promising for the rest of the season. Win one of Nebraska and Penn State and I think we’ll be pushing up against some more sellouts.
