Assuming about 7 home games per year (I'm not counting, haha), that is roughly 5% of the time ... that's a great way to discourage hope!
The only reason I am fine bringing up this terrible history of disappointment is because of my immense faith in Bret and Co. that things have begun the long process of changing for good.

Surprisingly no. We jumped into the top 25 after beating PSU and Wisconsin, but we fell out after losing to a bad Iowa team in Iowa City. Then the Michigan home loss cemented us being unranked until we won at #1 OSU.
I'm so glad they stopped scheduling Mizzou every year. That was a guaranteed loss for us, unfortunately
