Little late to the part but that's a great fit with the Wolves. Connelly built the Nuggets team that won a championship and has now built the wolves up.

They also could some help at guard and wing alongside Edwards.

Congrats TSJ... man, that mob of his friends and loved ones... I can't even imagine the absolute high-point emotional releases washing over him with the verdict and now the draft announcement. Many people have no moments in life like that, and he's had two in two weeks! Good luck bro.

Their expiring contracts of guys that play were Monte Morris and Kyle Anderson and they just upgraded both.

It was a long wait, but he landed in an excellent situation with a REALLY good team. Happy for Terrence and, obviously, this helps Illinois as well. Recruiting is rolling along nicely obviously, but putting 1st round picks in the league doesn’t hurt a thing!!!

I mean the most recent dynasty was built on college stars. Steph and Klay were 3 year college players, Draymond was a 4 year player.

Plenty of other NBA stars were in college for a while. Jimmy Butler, Brunson, Bridges, Lillard, and so on.

BTW, the ESPN broadcast of the draft really sucked. Bilas and Jefferson have creds and offer value added input, but the other two . . . not so much. They follow the major media trend of offering eye candy and fluff, and not much else.

Totally, and I think the draft tonight showed a willingness to take those guys.

6 seniors in the first round, pretty sure that's the most in awhile.

Edey was the first senior in the top 10 since Buddy Hield in 2016.
