How exactly does reclassifying work? What does a student have to do? I mean, when I was in 11th grade I couldn’t just one day say “I’m a senior now.”
He is 18 years old and what others have said Canada has a 13th grade. So my guess is he meets all the requirements to be admitted to the university because he has completed 12th grade

Yes reclassifying requires an athlete to knock out graduation requirements in 3 years. For most US student the hardest thing to do is the 4 years of English. Math you can normally take 2 or some 8th graders take a high school math class which can count

Am assuming as long as you meet the academic requirements to graduate,12th grade graduation requirements.

This "top 4" for Jasper (Bama, ILL, KY, Baylor) - it seems like it might be pretty knit tight...

but what would be the most reasonable guess of the order of the 4 likeliest to least likely? IMO it's probably: KY, ILL, Baylor, Bama in that order...but tough to tell.

Def. seems like we have a shot though, despite the public perception always being he's a lock to KY. You always got a shot with OA...

I know Brad's the head man and he's the assistant...but I'd honestly put OA on the same level in terms of "gotta keep around." Having this level of an ace recruiter...this is truly special...

that's all you can say really...

PJ Bowman made 28 shots that year and then averaged 4 pts a game as a senior in 20 minutes.

Ervin Small was ok but his best season was 7 pts and 5 rebounds in 20 mins.

Liberty was part of the 6 deep and I mentioned Smith and Kaufman.

For comparison sake, Carey Booth just averaged 6 pts and 4 rebs in 20 minutes as a freshman and looks like the 10th man. Jake Davis might not get any minutes and averaged 9 and 4.5 while shooting 39% from 3.
The team played 8 players in the rotation like most teams. Kaufman had the blood clot 12 games in or he would have made it nine. Bowman was 10th man. You said they were 6 deep. They were at least 8 proven players deep. Smith was 7th man and led the team in assists.

The 89 team was still only 6 deep with Smith and Kaufman that were them good later.

I don't know if the top end talent on this year's team is as good as 89 or 05 but this team looks more talented from 1-10 than any team I remember (realistically 11 with Davis).
They were 7-deep with high quality ( Liberty and Smith off the bench). After that there was a significant dropoff. Bowman and Small certainly played (small) roles, but neither was a starting-quality D1 player. Kaufman was injured most of the season.

This coming year's team looks deeper than any since 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 (assuming no one leaves and everyone is healthy). Likely no one at the level of TSJ, Ayo, or even Domask. But could be really good by the end of the season if they develop chemistry.

The Galloping Ghost

Washington, DC
That Arizona dude on the left is the biggest dweeb ever. He can’t rock that straight brim hat like that. I’ve got other thoughts about him but Dan would immediately ban me. He probably thought Drake won against Kendrick.
I've been sitting here trying to find an elegant way to say what I wanted to say about those two, but I realized...

You realise they were talking about best case/worst case scenarios right? That's what they do, they speculate.

Also another reminder that the road to the final four in 25-26 could be STL->CHI->IND. it would be a real nice time to be at the top of CBB and I’m sure nothing at all to do with our scheduling and roster construction for the upcoming season.
Interesting. Destiny repeats.

Agree with this. It's Bill Self like at this point

What a horrible day to be a Kentucky fan. The realization that their program is falling apart has to really be settling in by now
No go read their board they didn’t want him, too skinny, not an impact player, too young, they will get him in the portal next year, the ridiculous excuses go on and on the delusion is real with that fan base
