They made some nice portal adds, but the innovation we've brought to the table here is eschewing the portal in a way unique among our competitors.
KJ is kinda just a top freshman and maybe shouldn't be thought of in the "transfer" frame, but Ivisic really should, he's a transfer from a European pro basketball team.
We have zigged where everyone else is zagging.
Are we just swallowing a ton of risk on these foreign guys because we can't afford the equivalent talent level in a more reliable format in the portal like we thought we could? That would be the negative spin, and probably some flavor of the truth in a process sense given our earlier pursuit of portal guys. This wasn't Plan A.
But the sky is the limit if we become a destination for this sort of player.

I don't like the idea of Ty is the starting lineup, but I know how Stubborn BU can be. Think Adam Miller. Mine would be Boswell, KJ, White, Ben and Ivisic. If only Ty had some semblance of an offensive game; he's so good at rebounding and defense. But he doesn't, and KJ and White certainly do. There's your two wings.
Now go lock down the big 7 foot Dane for next year GA and OA

The big key with this type of play is can they put guys into the draft. The more you can show that you can get guys into the league the more likely you are to attract top talent regardless of where its coming from.
Since we’re on a European roll, can we get Hugo Gonzalez too?

I don't think you can project a year ahead with the current landscape of college basketball. Next year is all there is.
I'd say were done. Small chance they could add the right piece but if I had to place a wager right now it'd be that we are done.
