Projected starting lineup? Kylan, KJ, Ty, Ben, Tomi

Rotation: Dra, Tre, Carey, Morez, Jake

Insiders, any chance they leave it at 11 scholarship players / 10 rotation players? Giving current guys more tick may alleviate some of the pure money conversations next summer when we want to bring back as many guys as possible to run for a Natty.
They may leave it at 11, could add one more. Depends on if they can find someone willing to take a lesser role/develop for a year

Now that is a very solid, well rounded team with tons of offensive potential!! We’ll just have to hope BU can make them play some average to above average defense. Also legitimate height advantage and someone to hopefully guard the post.

This team is closer to the 2003-2004 team than the 2004-2005 team. Nevertheless, most people will probably be happy if it ends up like the 2003-2004 team. However, I recall the B1G was not as competitive in those days.

Ty feels like the defensive and rebounding glue to make a lot of these lineups make sense. The time is now to buy stock in him because he's gonna get a ton of playing time.
That's how I see it as well. He'll be defending the biggest guard threat each night and if he is able to take the next step in body control and finishing, I think there could be incredible chemistry between him Ivisic, Humrichous, as I would consider all of them as plus off-ball movers. Then you add Boswell's ability to drive and vision and Kasparas' vision and shot, both with ability to make the right reads and get the ball to the right person, and I see our offense being extremely difficult to defend. I have concerns about our perimeter defense, but we should be able to put up a lot of points. I do think it's Ty's starting spot to lose at this point though, and if he does take that next step offensively, I agree with you, look the hell out, he'll be on an All B10 list.

looked it up and found a few articles. Administrators wish this was clarified. Active vs passive NIL $ is apparently the difference.
Student visa's are not work visa's. Just Name, Image, Likeness like EA sports, etc., passive is the key, leveraging a students influence
without requiring any labor. i don't fully understand it. Immigration Attorney talk and my eyes glaze over!

Next year we should be pretty good… IF the core group stays… 2025-26 has the potential to be a historically great Illinois team…. Brad cooked.
