Noblesville Illini

Don't see him getting within spitting distance of the court anytime soon.

I was under the impression Miller would transfer to Depaul and develop his pg skills. JFL would transfer to Illinois to average 25 a game, become a high draft pick, while helping the team to a repeat. Everyone is a happy camper.Let's look at this rationally here, guys. Adam knew he was going to tear his ACL last summer, so he transferred away for a year so he wouldn't take up a scholarship slot, which allowed us to get Plummer to replace him. He picked LSU knowing that they were under investigation and Wade would likely get fired. That would then allow him to transfer right back to Illinois with a waiver for the coach being let go. It was the plan all along! He is the ultimate team player!
Hell Miller can work on his pg skills with us. Will need some ball handlers with TF leaving.I was under the impression Miller would transfer to Depaul and develop his pg skills. Seems undersizedSo…Hawkinson from SHG. Had a great 3A tournament and championship win. 2023 kid… thoughts on him?
Sat out for a while after being arrested for assault for spitting on a fan after a loss at Arizona.Any idea what’s up with Mac Entiene for UCLA?
Doesn’t seem to be playing or dressed. We couldn’t wait for him to be an Illini…
He’s 6’5”…but don’t think he profiles as a center given his ability to knock down 3s.Seems undersized
I'm not. He's not an immediate take in my book. I'd wait and see what's behind door #2.I'm viewing it in a vacuum. I would take back Miller in a heartbeat without the context of who's available. Beyond the coaching staff, it is incredibly difficult to know who's actually available (in the portal or considering the portal and would seriously consider Illinois), therefore I can't worry about that context. Taking an athletic wing that can shoot it, has a history with the coaching staff, was primed to make a leap seems like a great combination.
Naw i think that imari played with leon smith as the bigImari Sawyer?
Another potential benefit with Skyy is the fact he has a brother who Skyy has been vocal about wanting to play with:If it’s skyy or Miller I think you gotta take skyy. Younger player always if they’re even or of course it the younger guy is better.
Too many question marks with Miller right now with the acl
Both tore acls anfew months apart. Skyy tore his over the summer. Adam tore his in the fall i believe.. right before the season started. Both are coming off ACLs. Skyy injured his meniscus also. I agree with you that id go with Skyy. I was very high on Miller out of Morgan Park. I know he was only a freshman but the problem was i only saw small flashes of his true game. Another posted said it best.. he missed too many open threes for me.If it’s skyy or Miller I think you gotta take skyy. Good info skyy’s knees too. I did not know that. Both tore acls anfew months apart. Skyy tore his over the summer. Adam tore his in the fall i believe.. right before the season started. Buckner and Boyd Batts was a very good team. Won back to back titles1972 Thornridge
Not a medical guy but think a guy like Fletch changes those odds. Making sure there is equal strength would be critical. Know there have been some guys that have never regained the same level of athleticism. Always wondered if that was the case with DMW. Probably dependent on the exact injury.Good info skyy’s knees too. I did not know that.
The concern for both is that a catastrophic knee injury on one side greatly increases the chance on the other side within 5 years (or so I read a few years ago, don’t know if anything has changed since with advances in medical tech/rehab).
I think a healthy never before injured Adam Miller would be a no brainer. He put up solid numbers as a freshman and played great defense. No one will convince me that Adam’s freshman year in Champaign was anything other than a success. Both tore acls anfew months apart. Skyy tore his over the summer. He’s a high school man child. I don’t know how that transfers to college. He seems like one of those guys Wisconsin gets to post up on your wings to create match up problems.Hell Miller can work on his pg skills with us. Will need some ball handlers with TF leaving.
How do you feel about Skyy Clark?I think a healthy never before injured Adam Miller would be a no brainer. He put up solid numbers as a freshman and played great defense. No one will convince me that Adam’s freshman year in Champaign was anything other than a success.
With his injury history though, I’m not sure he is worth a scholarship. I don’t want to tie up any more scholarships on injury-prone players. As others have said, I’ll just trust BU’s decision on this one.
