At the tourney ‘Paign?Tyler rolls it to 2 inches.
GT goes 4 feet by. Must make.
He makes it for only the 3rd split hole today for these 2
Until now. GT gets the break they needed and Tai wins one against Voois. All square again. Now 2-1-2.Max goes up 3 and GT is in real trouble now.
Yeah this is one thing I don't know about this. Is 2-1-2 a "winning" score for us? They don't force the square matches to go until a winner is decided I assume.Tai is starting to play better not good. Just need to hold on to our 2 leads and get 1/3 remaining tossups.
I would argue we need our 3 “W’s” from some combination of our first four golfers.Tai is starting to play better not good. Just need to hold on to our 2 leads and get 1/3 remaining tossups.
Yes, I'll be sitting at 14 for next hour. I think that will be a pivotal hole.At the tourney ‘Paign?
I'm sure they do force a winnerYeah this is one thing I don't know about this. Is 2-1-2 a "winning" score for us? They don't force the square matches to go until a winner is decided I assume.
Correct. It is a winning score. Think of it this way, a winning match is worth 1 point, and a halved match is worth .5 points for each team. At the end of all the matches, the team with the most points wins.Yeah this is one thing I don't know about this. Is 2-1-2 a "winning" score for us? OK, I got that wrong. Looking at my phone was a mistake. Tyler chips close and GT must 2 putt to halve the hole, 1 to winOn 14, Tyler hits into right with. GT in fairway, 50 yards longer.
Tyler hits across fairway into rough in left side. GT only has probably a 7 iron to green. Loses it right into the !!!!
Tyler wedges to greenside, while GT searches for ball. Must be deep? Not deep enough! He hits out to short yardage. I'm 200 yards away, can't tell exactly how close, but close.
It looks like Max’s opponent was -2 from holes 8-11, and still loses 2 of those holes. Wow!Just as I say that Jackson doubles to lose a hole. Thankfully he can afford that. Max wins his hole with another birdie wow.
I'm certainly no expert but the following statement implies you must win three matches.Correct. It is a winning score. Think of it this way, a winning match is worth 1 point, and a halved match is worth .5 points for each team. At the end of all the matches, the team with the most points wins.
If the teams are tied with the last match remaining, they will play extra holes until there is a winner, but that would just be on the last match. For the first 4 matches, if the two players are tied after 18, that individual match is just halved (.5 points to each team)
