Today's schedule among the state schools:

-Noon, ESPN+: WIU at ISU
-6:00 PM, ESPN+: Incarnate Word at SIU
-6:30 PM, BTN: EIU at Northwestern

Perusing the kansas message boards last night was entertaining. They are despondent. Not that i get pleasure in the frustration of other fans. :). Many of them refer to their loss last weak against a dog**** illinois team, which is a little insulting.

Will be interesting to see the TV ratings this week. Below are the week 2 games by time slot and which conference’s TV deal granted the rights.

What’s notable is the SEC deal only brought in 6,447,000 viewers total for the whole weekend.

The B1G by comparison had 22,913,000.

Obviously, the SEC was contributing to viewership in games like Texas Michigan and others vs the ACC, but the point of this post is about the TV deal values which are driven by the home team conference. ESPN has intentionally excluded SEC Network from ratings sweeps which is why they aren’t shown here, and I was unable to find any ratings.

BC staying with Missouri (with a little help from the latter’s penalties). Always good to see Tigers struggling, but made even better cuz I follow Beagles some since I have several friends who went to BC.
