Is the TV show called Humans on in the US? Interesting concept. Just started in the UK so we will see how the story unfolds.
It's actually set to premiere here in the U.S. tonight on AMC.
I'm assuming from the lack of buzz on the forum compared to last season that most were disappointed in this season's offering of "True Detective." I did make a point to watch each episode but found the plot very convoluted and the characters not very likeable.
I enjoyed the show, but have no idea why since I couldn't follow it. I think I just liked that fact it isn't the usual fare, but I'm not sure I paid enough attention to track what was going on. I tend to do too much multi tasking when I need to focus on one thing. I have the same issue with Mr. Robot.I'm assuming from the lack of buzz on the forum compared to last season that most were disappointed in this season's offering of "True Detective." Anyone else looking forward to Fear The Walking Dead?
I'm unfamiliar with it. Is it a spin off?
Same "universe" as The Walking Dead, but I believe it is set in the L.A. area. I'll be watching; I'm a sucker for zombie stories.
Yup - definitely need to concentrate when watching Mr. Robot. How good was the last episode, though? Wow!!
It's taken awhile (currently on S4E4), but I've finally bought in to Game of Thrones. I still think the show is a bit busy (I feel I'd enjoy the books much more than the show), but it's high moments are fantastic. Just my two cents.
I haven't watched the show since season 2 (no HBO), but the books, IMO, were far far busier. Way more characters, lots more subplots. I quite literally had to use the family trees and other stuff in the back of the books.
Oh I don't doubt that whatsoever. But with a book I feel I have more time to be immersed within the story. Sure, I could pause the show to get a similar effect, but for some reason it's different.
I watched the 2-hour premier of The Bastard Executioner last night. It seemed to start a bit slow with all of the back-story, but by the end I was wanting more. Looks like Sutter may have another hit on his hands.
Oh - Katey Sagal's fake accent is like fingernails on a chalkboard.
Anyone watching Blindspot? It's coming to the UK the 24th I believe. Looks interesting. Should I watch?
It's my favorite new show of the season. The ratings have been good, so I'm hoping it's around for a few seasons.
