St Louis Cardinals 2024

Another note about my latest trip to Busch this season. The new 703 club is a really nice set-up. I’m a big all inclusive guy and I’d say it is just behind Champions Club for me. You lose a little bit of the left field warning track if you aren’t in the first row to stand and see. They offer a lot of good options, coolers to grab your own beer or water, and full bar with cocktails and drafts.

I'll be in that section in about 2 1/2 weeks for the Cardinals/Mariners Saturday game and am really looking forward to it. The videos I've seen make it look really impressive. The mesh seating will take some getting used to but I'm sure it will be fine.

I don't know what the crowds will be when you go, but I'll tell you that 703 was the only section completely full on Tuesday. We went up and down before the game and ate at our seats so we could be outside. If you want to eat inside and have a table, get in there early.
The mesh seats were different, but comfortable.

A couple years back when I was in Southern IL and we caught a game, we did an all inclusive deal and it was fantastic. It was not actually in the ballpark, but across an alley/street from the left field seating. There was an indoor area with a buffet type spread, good variety of food, and an outdoor area with a bar and several rows of seats looking in towards left field/3rd/home plate. Not the greatest seats for viewing but the price and atmosphere were top notch! I've been telling the fam that we need to do that outing at least every other year when I'm there. Anyone know the venue I'm talking about? 703 doesn't sound right and if it is new, definitely not. I'm thinking we spent 75-80ish per ticket?

Once upon a time I liked to all inclusive. After a while I realized that I don't drink and I can't eat enough to make it worth my while. I decided to just get a decent seat and rad a dog and a bottle of water and I am miles ahead of the game.

Somebody needs to inform Noot that he must run home on a double steal, most frustrating Cardinal team in a looooong time.
Stubby's response seemed to indicate Carp took off on his own
hoping Noot would follow. i thought a stupid Mgr. play too, but....
marmol is still responsible for "team stupid".

hope you recorded it.
found it on my bedroom tv as I went to bed , must have been a late add to my hulu live +.....watched the last 2 1/2 innings........I usually have to watch them downstairs on my computer.........it was great to see them come back twice and then win it.......Brewers have been killing us all season and it was good payback......need to win the series this afternoon.......

Errors , lack of hitting with RISP and walks by the pitchers has been a big bugaboo all season long..........thought Baker might have gotten the start at 1B today........

THAT'S A WINNER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cardinals take 2 of 3 from the Brewers as they 3-0 today............

Mikolas with a solid outing and a quality start.............went 6 innings 2 hits and 3 K's......................
Victor Scott II with his first MLB 3 hit game............
Cardinals pitchers got 14 groundout outs today.........................
Winn and Burleson with 2 hit games...........
Contreras , Donovan and Arenado with the rbi's..........
Helsley with his 39th save.........Jo Jo Romero with another hold........

LET'S GO CARDINALS...................

It all comes down to averages. They might not make as much on a single game but it happens all season during Monday-Thursday games. On average we are a top 4-5 attendance team each season. If this team drops to a top 10 team(which we are just outside of top 5 right now) the owner is still making a ton of money. If they would drop to a middle of the pack or lower tier attendance team I would get the rationale for DeWitt. Outside of the home opener on a Thursday, majority of Mon-Thurs games are low 30k games this season and jumps up on Friday-Sunday games.

Ballpark Village money is fine. Ton of people show up whether they have tickets to the game or not.

The DeWitt family puts a ton of money back into the community. They are not bums but yes I would have no problem with them selling the team or restructuring from top on down if staying.
Sure would be nice if they took some of that money and invested it in good players.

I also wish people would vote with their wallets about the team. The people who continue to spend money on this team are every bit as much of a problem as the DeWitts. They need to figure out something different to do on their summer vacations.
