Cards up 5-4 on the Giants going to the top of the 5th.......

Goldie with a 2 run bomb to center field and Burly with a 3 run big fly into the Cardinals bullpen.......

I still think Burleson will be the Cardinals 1st baseman starting next year........He is a great hitter and only going to get better as he gets regular AB's........

Burleson and Donovan will be the Cardinals nucleus going forward the rest of this decade......JMHO............

Donnie with a blast........I love to watch his swing with both hands on the bat through his follow through.........Those one handed swing's that some batters do just drive me crazy......

Cardinals beat the Giants 9-4 and climb above .500 once again.....let's stay there and keep the winning streak going ......

Burleson with 2 home runs and 5 RBI's........
Goldie with a 2 run blast to center field.........
Winn with a couple of hits and should of went above .300 again........
Donovan with a home run also........
Cardinals BP with another strong performance........

Sonny Gray pitching tomorrow for the sweep..................

Giants announcers said that the Cardinals have the best record in MLB since Mother's Day..........

No, but I like your thought. Donny is in a groove, but not a 4 hole guy. I honestly like him in the 1 or 2. He is the toughest on our team to strikeout and will work a count. I love guys like that at the top. When Willy gets back, I think he will alleviate a lot of pressure.
I’d like to see this lineup against righties assuming we are full health:
SS- Winn
LF- Donny
C- Willy
RF-Burleson
1b- Goldy
DH - Gorman
3b - Nado
CF - Lars
2B - Edman

Gorman and Goldy are the strikeout kings on this team right, but if they both get in a groove that is a tough second inning.

Assuming all ends up well with the final game of his rehab assignment today with Memphis, he should be set to rejoin the roster for the beginning of tomorrow's series vs. Atlanta.
