I typically find Bernie's comments interesting. I read his posts very often.
My post is abbreviated. For the full story

This could all be wrong. The Front Office might be committed to winning. It simply does not appear as if they are.
They have tried to make trades. Not many of them have worked out.
They have brought in FA pitching. Again it has not worked out. If it is not Mo's fault it is the fault of his scouting department, which means, IT'S HIS FAULT for not having the right people.
Poor messaging is a huge factor. The message that has been given to fans year after year is they want to win 90 games, make the playoffs and see what happens. So to speak.
Loading up with high priced FAs isn't necessarily the answer but nickel and diming for years doesn't give fans warm and fuzzy feelings. They should accept that is human nature instead instead of implying that only fairweather fans complain.
It's not that I dislike Oli. It's simply that I dislike the Cardinals getting managers that are learning on the job. If it is the younger guys who are the ones that are willing to go with the newer analytics then find someone that has some kind of a track record of success.
I simply don't see the downtown St Louis area safety as a factor at all. If the Cardinals had an exciting team that was on pace to win 100 games the stadium and Ball Park Village would be overflowing with fans.
