Christie was in the first round of a lot of mock drafts, as was Johnny Furphy, as was Kyle Filipowski.
It was worth a shot for those guys in this bad draft, and they'll all make NBA teams and get an opportunity.
All things considered though, NIL is going to hold more and more kids in the college game, as well as pull kids in from overseas and pull talent up from the mid-major level. If the money can sustain itself, and doubly so if programs can develop a bit of continuity (both open questions at this stage) major college basketball is going to get stronger, especially from where it was pre-super senior.
All to the good, IMO. If only our conferences had lived to see it.
