Pretty hard to avoid the sinking feeling that we may not see Feagin again this season.
Trying not to speculate because its personal. But he's on Zoom calls with doctors I'm pretty sure they're getting multiple opinions at this point and that does not give me the warm fuzzies.

He's like 10-15 points higher in pass blocking grade than any other RB.Pretty devastating. Not to bash the guy, I actually think our other RBs have done better than him this year. But losing the depth is just not ideal heading into the toughest part of the season. I really hope he gets well and we see him dominate on the field for us in the future.

Ouch…He’s done for the year from everything I’ve been told …
Depending what doctors say and what the decision is going forward … Good chance he could be out for all of spring as well … Just depends …

We’ve all hyperextended a knee. Ouch! But I don’t understand the effects and treatment for of a more acute version. Anyone here know? He’s done for the year from everything I’ve been told …

At 6:23, Bret says "He (Kaden) realizes this season was cut short... he'll be back with us either in the Spring or next Fall"

When was the last season without a significant injury to a running back?

Love the optimism, but the second half Illini team last Saturday looked scared and tentative often. Still think Illini can squeak out a win, but there is a lot to clean up. Holding Michigan to 13 is wishful thinking, especially if the product from Saturday carries over.Everyone keeps expecting a close game. I actually think we may blow them out. Our players and coaches seem to play carefree, and not scared at all. They know what is at stake here. Stack the line. Stop the run. They don't have a pass game.
Illini 31
Michigan 13
There's a lot that could be going on in silent with the immediate hyperextension diagnosis thatthey might not have made public. You could also be dealing with damage to the ligaments, tearing of the meniscus, or maybe even subluxation or dislocation of the patella. I'm not saying he has any of those things or insinuating it, just saying that just because Bret said it was a hyperextended knee in the immediate after the injury may not mean that was the only issues. We’ve all hyperextended a knee. Haven't heard much about him lately.Jordan Anderson's table is ready....
I hyperextended my patella tendon and it took quite a while to heal. Stepped in a hole while jogging. You talk about pain. This kid has a lot of potential. I hope whatever it is that he is back out on the field soon. There's a lot that could be going on in silent with the immediate hyperextension diagnosis thatthey might not have made public. I dealt with a hyperextension and 2nd degree Spain of my MCL. That was a long frustrating recovery process. It's possible Feagin is dealing with worse. And I'm really not trying to speculate, but it's possible the calling of multiple doctors might be to see if something like PRP injections could be used in this case to speed up healing. Or again, it could be something else entirely like knee structure related. Knee injuries suck. Just hoping for as fast and full recovery possible at this point no matter what the issue is. Feel bad for the kid.
Staying healthy for him as a RB will always be a tough road. He’s done for the year from everything I’ve been told …

Cause he’s the 4th optionHaven't heard much about him lately.
Can still try for a waiver, no? Especially if it was some kind of unfortunate happenstance. Not that 4 star recruits are normally thinking about a 5th year, but of course this happens one game past the redshirt threshold.
