It is early, but I would tend to agree that Mitchell is a prime target and we are in a good spot for him. Small town kid and a good family from what I have gathered.I would say a heavy Illini lean…but you never know….?

Where?Hear me out now…James Browns table might be set sooner than later, I was surprised he was a take at UNC with his stock tanking that much.
I was born in Olney and live about 30-35 minutes from there. The white squirrels are for real and it's also become a hot spot for pickleball.
Mike Shaw trajectory.Where?
He has the hallmarks of a player that was physically gifted early ...and then everyone else caught up.
Saw him play plenty as a 7th grader on his schools 8th grade team...best I've seen at that level....was very good at getting teammates involved in the game....could have easily scored 30pts a game if he wanted....good kid, would look good in O & BIt is early, but I would tend to agree that Mitchell is a prime target and we are in a good spot for him. That was my thought as well. Not sure on that, but pretty sure O has a daughter that just graduated from UK. So it’s not out of the questionIs he Orlando Antigua 1’s son? He also has ties to Lexington.
Links for the above:I don't know if anybody noticed and posted before, but after downgrading Will Riley from 89 to 81 when he reclassified, ESPN has since brought him up to 92, making him a 5-star.

No, you don't understand! If ESPN graded our recruits correctly, another B1G team would've been included in their Way-Too-Early Top 25, and ESPN can't have that! They don't have any investment in the Big Ten!81? lol

was a little buzz with us...didn't make it I guess...
Tbh, I say "no problem" looking at Miikka...
quite literally never said that...but you do you my guy...last I checked, Muurinen hasn't committed. if it's the field or us for a highly coveted kid, especially w/o any ties, the smart money is going with the field. a few weeks ago you thought Johnson was an Illini lean, maybe more. how'd that work out?
In fairness, if you gave me “the field” vs any individual team for each highly coveted prospect, the smart money is always on the fieldlast I checked, Muurinen hasn't committed. if it's the field or us for a highly coveted kid, especially w/o any ties, the smart money is going with the field. a few weeks ago you thought Johnson was an Illini lean, maybe more. how'd that work out?
I grew up in IL and live in Utah. My guess is it’s Ryan Smith who’s a billionaire and owns all the pro sports teams around here. Just a guess. He would also have the clout and connections to get other big donorsInterested to know who BYU has with so much cash to burn.
Two guys the Illini were interested in signed with BYU…Demin and Catchings. I’m guessing neither are Mormoni wonder what UK fans are thinking seeing BYU raking in top guys after Pope left..
"best performer of the weekend:"
With the transfer portal (and as successful as we’ve been in it) does it make sense anymore to go after development guys? They don’t stick around long enough to even get/give themselves a chance to develop at the school they start out at.Obviously, we're killing it, recruiting wise. If we land Ahrens, which I expect, I sincerely hope that doesn't mean we're out on Gores (Ahrens re-classing will help). Both are development guys, but I think their games are more complementary than redundant (Ahrens in more of Coleman-esque role and Gores a PF in training). Gores has a VG physique, much better that Happ at this stage. Seems like exactly the type of kid to take in a development role,
Is there such a thing as a “developmental” role anymore?will Gores accept a "developmental" role? if so, is that a 1 year redshirt then off to the NIL money in the sky? i guess that's the world we live in.
