I was under the impression this watch has been going on for a least a few days already.
OA went through this last year with his brother so I am surmising that not only did they know this was coming but they also know how to clear the hurdles quicker.

I highly doubt OA was involved much at all in the complex admissions and clearance issues, and it was handled by other support staff in the athletics department and university. He probably got a few updates here and there, but he had way more important things to do as part of his assistant coaching position like recruiting and coaching to be hands on with the details of the process to clear a player.
Chainsaw was awesome and had his place on a winning team. If he and bubbles could have got along things could have been very different. He once said something like Self is great, will put his arm around your shoulder and ask if you got laid? Weber is your high school math teacher

At the very least, once they started chasing this guy I am sure they got some feedback from admissions on it. They wouldn't have wasted their time otherwise. I'm sure they had a good idea that things could get taken care of. Not necessarily a "we guaranty it", but "yea that SHOULD be ok".
