Part of me wants Kanon more just to see Purdue fans lose it having to go up against a squad that features 2 guys that decommitted from their program (and despite what anybody says, 2 guys they really wanted there). That would be fun.Riley fits this team better ... He'd be my pick ...
But I don't think you'd go wrong either way ... Both are 1st round talents ...
Yes in Bizzaro Illini world. Is there a chance we sign Catchings for 24 and Riley for 25?
DGL was the 1st...is this a new pipeline...?oh, that would be AMAZING! (Giorgi salute)
PU fans would go nuts
Can't they transfer at semester...?Not saying they’d be happy. But don’t they literally have to stay? That was my question.
Who on the team could actually decommit for 2024 at this point?
They both need Fletched...Catchings' ranking is based on potential. Riley is a day one impact
Ok, so looking for a quick summary:
Last I read:
1)The visit not go well at UK,
2)Bama just wanted a visit and
3)The AZ relationship soured
4)We knocked it out of the park with him
Does this remain true or are we preparing for:
5)Recruiting is fluid
6)We have a good option B
I want to hone in on expectations.
I would be surprised if Coleman would transfer into the BIG10...
A lot of speculation as to what conversation occurred on the call between Catchings and Painter.
Some say Painter anticipated and planned this, so he could get Coleman Hawkins signed instead.
In fact he's said he wouldn't sign into the Big Ten againI would be surprised if Coleman would transfer into the BIG10...
Who is "some"? Hawkins is not going to play at another Big Ten school.

IIRC PU was over-signed by oneI would be surprised if Coleman would transfer into the BIG10...
And people worry about team chemistry if we bring in Will Riley? Bring in a less talented demanding player to see if he can start the washing machine on spin cycle!Part of me wants Kanon more just to see Purdue fans lose it having to go up against a squad that features 2 guys that decommitted from their program (and despite what anybody says, 2 guys they really wanted there). I wonder if Coach Green can get him to change his decision.Related to Tamika? Is he considering opening up recruitment?
Recruiting is fluid. But I hope very much that what Coleman has said holds true.In fact he's said he wouldn't sign into the Big Ten again
We should all be concerned, every year, about team chemistry. This past year has been a beautiful credit to each of the players and to the staff. Coach Underwood especially. The character shown across the board was -- I mean this -- absolutely off-scale. I believe we should all be humbled and also proud of what we saw this past year. Team chemistry like that does not happen often. And people worry about team chemistry if we bring in Will Riley ...

You want coach green to convince him to play with the women instead of the men??I wonder if Coach Green can get him to change his decision.
Loyalty After Dark alert!

The fact that this could legitimately be one of two top 40 forwards is legitimately funny.
