UK visit didn’t go well … Very rare that you hear a visit didn’t go well …

I talked to one of the UK assistants and he told me that he just didn’t get the vibes from Riley that he was loving the visit … 🤷🏻‍♂️

Could be the kid just wasn’t very vocal about it and enjoyed it … But still something worth noting …

Is this also an option if one of the guys currently on the roster de-commits? - it's been brought up here that it might happen.

A whole lot of college basketball players, including former Fighting Illini, very clearly transfer in response to what they see as inadequate playing time. Characterizing that as being "scared" doesn't seem right.

Riley would play a bunch of minutes and be goto scorer whereas Catchings would not, but could be a longer term player.

Guess it would have to be an incoming transfer who didn’t attend classes yet, or whatever you have to do to officially be considered at the university.

Ok, but that would seem to be good for us. Or is Riley now more strongly considering not re-classing? That would seem to be the thing that would hurt us most. Unless Arizona (or Arkansas?) has come on strong late.

Fun fact, if anyone cares, I once sat behind the two of them at an ILL game in KC- I did a little 3 point contest during a media timeout and won so I thought I’d try to wave at them since I was feeling confident which they seemed to find funny. Didn’t seal the deal though because women are scary (and because I had no chance). I wish Will all the luck in the world though.

This story is 100% accurate. I was there. We also sat behind Kofi’s brother who was doing Facebook live or Instagram live, or whatever.
