I think Kasparas’s game resembles John Havelicek’s the most just watching him play. As far as Egor is concerned I’m still thinking of the player past or present that his game most resembles.

An honest, in my opinion, evaluation of his game. He is an average athlete. He is not an above the rim guy, he's not going to blow by anyone, but he also doesn't appear to be a liability athletically.

His defense looked like it could use some help in the games I saw. He wasn't fighting through screens, a guy with a good first step could get past him.

He is an elite FT shooter, and he gets to the line a lot.

He is a good shooter, don't think I'd call it great. Given his FT shooting, one would assume he could be a great shooter eventually.

When I watch this kid, what stands out to me the most is feel for the game/bball IQ. He knows how to cross people up, he knows how to exploit the flow of the defense, he can see where his teammate is going and put the pass there.

His body is ready to play right now. I think overall he can step in and be a capable Big Ten starter, but I do not expect him to be a star right out of the gates. He is not going to have the ball in his hands as much on our team.
I agree with this assessment- the only part I’d quibble with is his impact next year. While every overseas player needs to adjust to the college game - I think he’ll be even more effective for us in how we will use him.

He’s a better spot up shooter then when he has to create his own shot which he has to do a lot of on Barca B - he’ll get a lot more chances at good looks from three with our team. He’s also a really good pick and roll player - I can see him and Big T having a field day. Plus, he’ll be able to spell Boswell at the PG spot.

If he goes for 14 pts 6 reb 4 assists a game freshman year- which I think he’s very capable of - he would be one of the best freshman next year

Young Shaun Livingston, trending towards Cade Cunningham and Luka Doncic, not saying he is even close to being their level yet, just whose game reminds me of

Is Tre White as good as TSJ yet?

Hope so, if not we're in trouble.

/s

I've been thinkingTre is our TSJ replacement for a while now. Lots of noise from insiders about numerous guys we have been looking at, but I'm not holding my breath on a big time player. Hope I'm wrong! With that being said I'm not saying we can't be good with the players we've got now. I think Tre and Booth will make leaps this year. I like their talent. I think are kylan, tomislav and humricous are really good. People are sleeping on Davis.

like his trajectory, he's gonna be a good D1 player:
Good size on the wing. Would fit the mold of an in-state kid that isn't super highly touted so could redshirt as a freshman and probably be and end bench piece in year 2 before contributing in year 3.

Would get two years to develop and work with Fletch before being expected to contribute. Also, likely has several friends/classmates coming down to Champaign which can sometimes be a draw.

Could probably add a developmental in-state kid like this yearly to fill out the end of the bench with the transfer portal making it hard to fill out.

Wait I thought the official counting rules were that Dan’s post #1 doesn’t count, therefore the 101 Dalmatians post for #102 would indeed be correct. Same deal with those others.

Those are artificial rules. Dan’s post is always #1 on the thread so the next person is always #2. The people who post #1 as #2 are probably also staunch supporters of participation trophies and have contributed to the weakness of our current culture. S/ or whatever you are supposed to do to indicate sarcasm.
