Not tampering. But if our side is leaking that the conversation is happening it's not the classiest move ever. Can you imagine the melt down we'd have had in February if we heard that Adam Miller was thinking about leaving for LSU.

Not every tidbit of information needs to be shared.

Well this article says that he has plans to stay his senior year but the NBA is looking at him so who knows.

Yeah - I didn’t spend the time digging that deep into his accuracy. Just noticed that for this year. Obviously makes it seem there is something there given he hasn’t taken much risk (especially this year) when making predictions, but only time will tell

If info is being leaked…doesn’t mean it’s even our side doing it. A big IF there anyway.

I was happy with him visiting and I was hoping he committed before going to Arizona. I remember Brad wanted the last visit & this buzz and smoke shows why. There are no guarantees!

I am fortunate to be close to the program and will just leave this here: players like Geoff, recruits like Geoff. If any of you have met Geoff, you also like Geoff. He was the right guy on the Kylan recruitment.

Remember this guy who we missed out on? Well, he ended up having to drop out of the season for KU because of the investigation of his mother's initiation of pre-NBA draft loan processing. Just giving some perspective for those who keep moping about all the recruits Illinois has missed out on.

Curious - how was his college coach allowed to keep his job? And how did his college program avoid NCAA suspension?

I know its still a bit of a ways away, but if Kofi comes back, we would need a transfer out to make space for Roddy right?

I think the disappointment has more to do with him being the clear first choice for the coaching staff than it has to do with the ranking. For the last few weeks, you couldn't go 10 minutes without a post on here about how great Boswell is, and how well he would fit on this team. You feed people a steady diet of that and "it's looking good" and "we're in the lead" and they're going to be disappointed when he chooses elsewhere. I don't think that's unreasonable. We'll be fine, we've missed out on plenty of first choices before, but the disappointment over this one is an appropriate response.

No doubt about it. That said, the "hello darkness, my old friend" crowd can bite a hodge.
