Are you able to share how much? Just curious how much NIL most prep recruits are getting.
White I can see. Out of state guy, likely later riser. Trimble would be a crusher. In-state, downstate kid. Ties to JC Anderson. Can't lose on one of the few top 20 in-staters that you even have a shot at when most of the top 15 won't even consider UI
Now That is a soul crusher.

Trimble's mom was talking about how great their visit was at Illinois the other day. It would be weird if he leaves and ends up somewhere else. It just didn't feel like he would leave.

Losing Trimble would be a gut-check.
In state 4 star...it's been hard enough to get those guys...and then finally land one...
oh...nope...he's gone...
Good to get a commit, nice flip from an ok program. Likely not one of their top options, of course. But, at least good to have backup plans when the top options go elsewhere
We have saying this for 40 years. No AD seems to get it.

Mike Farrell is a pretty well known recruiting expert.

There is no single recruitment that should be a watershed moment. That said, if you can't keep an in-state commit that is solid but not elite, that's an awfully warning sign.
