It’s always sad to see great promise get taken away by injuries. Good luck to the young man.Hate to see Beason transferring. I thought he would be a great find by Lovie staff. Good luck.
I would think that Ryan Walters is pretty familiar with Doyle.
Meaning that due to injuries he just isn't a power 5 player anymore, and will go to a lesser program? I imagine if he could not get playing time here he wont get it at another power 5.....It’s always sad to see great promise get taken away by injuries. Good luck to the young man.
I’m thinking SMU as his next destination. They’ve built their program on bringing in former top Texas prospectsMeaning that due to injuries he just isn't a power 5 player anymore, and will go to a lesser program? I imagine if he could not get playing time here he wont get it at another power 5.....
That’s selfish we really needed your roster spot. The good news is that I am not transferring
I believe Patterson also tried to recruit him to Illinois a few years backI would think that Ryan Walters is pretty familiar with Doyle.
Is Doyle an ILB or OLB?I believe Patterson also tried to recruit him to Illinois a few years back
Would be a good get!
I think he was a ILB coming out of HS per 247Sports: https://247sports.com/Player/Antonio-Doyle-46056440/Is Doyle an ILB or OLB?

That staff he loved may well be gone before long.
Believe I heard or read that BB is targeting some portal IL players that went elsewhere. Depends on the fit obviously but sounded like they may get the benefit of doubt. Was looking through some of the old Illinois HS prospect names in recent years. Lots of guys who went to other Big Ten programs (ugh, but not surprising), so not sure how fruitful that would be for transfers. Definitely could see Bielema tap into the U. of Wisconsin future transfers. Also ran into Micah Jones' (did nothing at ND, kinda doing nothing at ISU) and Jason Bargy (oh boy) names.
