No prob. I was just confused and don't follow recruiting as much as I used to so I figured I'd just see what 247 had for top 100 guys with Illinois interest.
I wish it was football though. Not sure when the next commit will be, but I like where we are with Danny McGuire (though Northwestern and Minny offers make me uneasy) and Hank Beatty. I think we sit better with Dallan Hayden than many think. There is a possibility of a flip not named Rashad Rochelle down the road.
I think you better add another zero onto that top 100 and expand your search

I do not see much of a shot with Brunner. Maybe you know something I do not? I think we are a top 3-5 team for Cheeks. We have work to do to beat out Notre Dame and Wisconsin.

I think Danny Maguire out of Marist is a name to keep an eye on for next commitment to Illinois. He spoke highly of Bielema and Illinois after being re-offered.

Agreed, you've got to like the message. Ultimately though, it's all about execution. This should be a fun ride.

This is the way. I imagine the 80/20 rule applies though (80% of recruits will come from 20% of schools). Hope they're practical about it.

I think Danny would be a great considering he is a Chicago kid with all the North schools offering him. You know, he is also 6-5 270lb which is cool.
Just from the timeline, it looks like we are starting pretty late on Jared Bradie. The roster would take a huge boost if we can start pulling these .83-.87 rated kids out of the state as our core group every year
