My prediction…Hawkins 1-7 from 3……Illini win 76-72

If we shoot 53% from 3 the rest of the year we can win out. What I want to see is us play this hard when things aren’t going our way and shots aren’t falling like they did today. Win the ugly games and we will have the team I want to see.

If we finish 19-12(10-10), and win at least 1 game in the B1G tourney, I would give us a 98% chance of making the NCAA tourney with our resume.
There could be 5 teams that finish 10-10 and only 4 or 5 with a better record. We would have the best non-con wins (and no bad losses - unless MZ collapses which is looking unlikely). With the exception of Purdue on the plus side and Minnesota on the losing side, every game in the B1G isn't far from a toss-up. Unless the B!G gets a historic low number of teams in, I think a 10-10 record with our remaining resume would be enough, especially with the parity we are seeing this year.

Can we sustain the effort (both physical & mental) of yesterdays Wisconsin game into Nebraska....if we can, 10-15 pt win....if not...10-15 pt loss. I really think this game will tell us a lot about how the rest of the season will go.

Yeah there is a very real possibility that 10 teams finish between 11-9 and 9-11. It could be a giant cluster.

Coleman shoots his 3’s in rhythm he will have continued success. It’s when he hesitates or is unsure or takes 30+ footers is when he misses. Hopefully will continue and the team will continue with the better offense. Keep Epps out of foul trouble will help also. Let’s beat Nebraska and start this back to .500 and go up from there.
