What is MM doing now? Playing overseas? Staying up late and playing video games?

So far only 1 confirmed game on B1G+,glad I didn’t pay for it.
Eh I don't mind BIG+ now. I do watch a bunch of other sports though that hardly ever get on tv. They also changed the subscription model. It no longer is school based and they have either a monthly or yearly sub that includes all schools and all sports including Hockey (which used to be it's own addon).

You may be right. But since 2021, no team has made it to the second weekend with as few returning minutes as we have. That's just a fact. 64 data points. If we make the Sweet 16 this year, we'll be making history in that regard.

Look, I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade. I expect us to be a top 15 team by the end of the year. But one of the great myths of the portal era is that you don't need continuity anymore. There's absolutely no evidence yet to support that. Lack of experience playing together is a very real obstacle this team will have to overcome this year and it's a legitimate reason for a person to be skeptical of this team.
NIL has changed the landscape significantly to the point that previous data and comparisons are almost useless. That’s what makes our team so hard to rank.

Minutes -- assuming you mean "your" returning minutes -- does that count your transfer's prior year minutes with another team? Portal changes things.

Minutes returning from last year's roster. So, no, it's not a measure of college basketball experience.

But that's the point I'm making - the portal hasn't changed the landscape such that continuity doesn't matter. We have three years of results that show, at least as far as the tournament is concerned, that it matters perhaps more than anything.

Last year we embraced this as fact. This year, we deny it. Next year, it'll depend on how many players we've returned. Gets real Orwellian around here sometimes.

Not really. Of ESPN's top 25, only Kentucky and Arkansas return less minutes than we do. Most teams have more than 2x the amount of minutes returning that we do.
Duke, UConn, Purdue, UNC, Auburn, Baylor lost significant players from last year's teams. Most of these teams are not returning their core team from last year and lost multiple NBA players Saying we return less minutes doesn't tell the whole story. A team returns 25 minutes vs our 18 for example. Big deal.

I was expecting in that ^^^ video that the time would decrease with each subsequent shot, lol. I'd have thought that the player(s) would be huffing and puffing by the last shot.... I would want to know which player has the highest shooting % in the last few shots, which I guess what was shown does.... but SPEED IT UP!

Not really. You gonna tell me Duke, UConn, Baylor, UK, UNC, Purdue etc didn't have significant turnover? They did.
Losing Edey is a big loss but it is not close to losing 8 of top 9 players. Purdue has B10 Preseason player of the year / Smith and other starters - Loyer, TKR along with others from the bench. Illinois lost 90% of production

Can't respond to non big10 rosters - don't follow that closely.
