Kylan Boswell was on saturday morning sportstalk yesterday. He said Morez has been the biggest surprise of the summer. He said nobody can stop him.

Kasparas is like an amalgam of Podz and Domask. It's crazy. Credit to the staff for going out and grabbing this kid. What vision.
Really good to see that- he was so passive yesterday against Sweden wasn’t even bringing the ball up most times and letting Nojus try to do everything- today obviously he was on a mission and almost single-handedly brought them back

KJ is a fundamentally solid and physically gifted gamer. My only concern for his game is a pro league will drop him a large bag before the Illini season.
Nice to see him play off ball as well. See him and Kylan playing off each other well.
Good comparison both in size and style is Sarunas Marchlonis (Golden State). Also built very much like Podz.

Evan Turner not a good IMHO. Turner was a wing converted to PG out of necessity. He developed under the USA AAU system. Turner was more a point forward.
KJ pure PG developed in fundamentally strong Euro/Lithuania style.
WHAT!! Pro League! I hope there isn't anything to this. This tournament can't get over soon enough. Get him back ASAP!

seems like a near perfect time to visit home and family. Helsinki is awfully close to Vilnius.
Being clowned by another fanbase is not very high on my list of concerns

Admittedly, these comps are never good and I've only seen highlights of KJ so I'm not claiming to know more than you or the next person. But I guess where we differ is, I think he's more of a wing / PG combo hence the Turner comp. He's a scorer who is also an elite distributor. I don't see him as a pure PG in the mold of some of the other guys mentioned here. Turner is more forward than KJ but on top of being a bucket, he would have led the Big Ten in assists if Demetri McCamey hadn't existed. He was crafty and could shoot it well from three, finish at the rim, and had a crafty midrange game. Ayo might be another decent comp. Shifty wing with pg skills. But I don't watch him and see Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, John Stockton, or Ricky Rubio.
I believe that he played a few games over the years

Morez biggest surprise? Not Kasparas? Pretty much everything we've heard about KJ since the moment he steeped on Ubben is lotto pick, All BIG Potential, consensusly considered the alpha, etc...
or I guess they expected that from him...?
Anyways, with Morez...IMO we're underrating him the most...probably because he's been committed for so or that we've brought in another 5 man. When thinking about it, I might prefer Morez>Tomi. Think both guys can help the team and they're so different so it definitely depends on what the situation calls for but...Morez can be real special.
