That's definitely the takeaway. Lovie has the d playing pretty well, but there are still quite a few hiccups and places where the talent isn't quite there.

I would say the Illini look a lot better with a real coaching staff, our seniors are pretty good, and just take every game for what it is. UNC will tell us a lot more.

He had 15 carries in 2015 and wanted out under the prior regime.

I've enjoyed this first half more than the last three years combined.

I said a couple times over on IlliniBoard that Foster was going to be a pleasant surprise this year. I just didn't expect it to be proven in the first two quarters of the season. He cuts well to find to hole and then turns on the jets!
