Mask Off Week for a lot of ranked teams, sadly including us.

Not sure about that. If they beat O$U they will be in.

Lose then it becomes interesting O$U beats Oregon then Oregon and O$U in. If O$U loses then do you put IU in over PSU who 2 loses are Oregon and O$U or O$U who 2 loses are Oregon one by 1 point and other neutral field also O$U would have beaten IU

This is all pending no upsets. I don’t see the Big 10 getting 3 teams in
Absolutely 0 chance a 1 loss Indiana isn't in the Top 12 for CFP at end of season. It's rare a 2 loss major conference team doesn't finish in the Top 12. A 1 loss power conference team has never not finished in the top 12 in the CFP rankings. If that were to happen, that would mean a 3 loss team is almost assuredly taking their spot. Just not going to happen.

People have to accept that IU is making the playoff, barring a home loss to Michigan or Purdue (combined with OSU loss). IU has been extremely fortunate in how the schedule turned out extremely soft, but it is hard to say they are not approaching elite territory this season (they just destroy whoever is in front of them). Will it be a one off year? Who knows, but they are certainly one of the best teams in football right now.

100%

Being a 1 loss team in the B10 or SEC (maybe even the B12 or ACC tbh) is a certainty to get you in.

IU will be in... not entirely out of the question they host a playoff game too.

The way they have been playing, they might just have a bye. The way they score, they very well could beat both Oregon and Ohio State on off nights.

Iowa State was really getting the full hype train treatment in my area this week. Honestly, I’ve never thought they were that great. Lots of “scrape by” wins in a B Tier power 4 conference didn’t exactly fill me with a great deal of confidence in them.

I wonder how many players from Fl State will hit the portal. Maybe Briggs can put a good word in for Family Illini.

They just can't wake up from the nightmare in Lincoln.

Rhule just crossed the event horizon, we've all seen this movie before.
not sure what you mean
are you implying he’s crossed the Rubicon ?

I guess at a minimum Rhule's honeymoon period is officially over. A bit early in his tenure to declare it a failure, but I get the disappointment after failing to live up to the unrealistic preseason hype.

Forget honeymoon phase, they're in the talking badly about him in front of him while flirting with his coworkers and creating a dating profile phase.

Michigan, Michigan State, and Wisconsin were all taken to school yesterday.

The Illini and Nebraska both took disappointing steps backward.

Indiana and Oregon still look terrific.

Southern Cal is finding things much rougher in the tough Big Ten.

And in the battle of 'THE' Programs of Legacy Privilege... Ohio bested Not-So-Happy Valley.

But it is the Big Red fans of the Cornhuskers who are hurting the most. They can’t figure out any more whether to be mad... sad... angry... apathetic... furious... or simply give up and be resigned to what they perceive as yet another failing re-start of their once-proud program.

Just a reminder. Football is supposed to be fun. Something enjoyable to take our minds off the many cares and worries of a complex and troubled World.

Football is NOT supposed to add to our misery and take the joy out of Life. But that’s a tough message to sell these days in Huskerland. Where the Big Red of the Big ‘N’ on their helmets and Unis' now matches the fiery red their fan's angry eyes and the swollen red of flowing Corn Country tears.
