Yeah I think the Harris situation from last year leaves me with no other assumption than he’s gone after this season. Anyone with more knowledge feel free to correct me.
Do you keep him around the team, if he’s just going to portal anyway? Was he getting NIL and if so, how does that work? So many questions…
this can't be real.... another S. Harris move.. So should we assume like Harris, this is the last time we will see TY in the Orange and Blue? This is sad..

Not really rocket science, he collects the check for this year, then retains his market value as a two-year player in the offseason.
Surely he feels he deserves a bigger role than he was ticketed for, and has the ability to do bigger things in his two years elsewhere.
And Ty is a unique player, you can see both sides of it here. But either way it sucks, we are a weaker team without him.

This is eerily similar to Sinciere last year. That one made since, this one is just puzzling. Ty was going to be an integral piece to this years team. If he's upset he didn't start in the scrimmage, then maybe he should have focused on developing his offensive game.
This hurts a lot defensively (obviously). And Leadership wise, since we will now be returning 1 guy (DGL) from our elite 8 roster last year. However, it helps a lot offensively. Even in the scrimmage we were playing 5 on 4 with Ty out there, and we would be doing the same against any well-coached team.
We just add these questions to the already massive list of what will this team look like this season?

I assume he's still going to go hard in practice so he provides value there. Ty is not going to be a locker room cancer regardless of his next move.
He needed to improve his shooting ability especially at his size and position and he didn’t make enough progress. It is what it is.
