Scholarships are going from 13 to 15. Not really sure the point of it. I guess you can just reward some walk-ons because teams aren’t going to get 15 quality guys that can contribute.
I agree that 15 scholarships seems overkill for the top teams. For the second tier teams, who are now going to be raided on an annual basis, this may allow them to keep more continuity.
Does the BigTen still require that all BB and FB scholarships (all sport scholarships?) be 4 years, or until graduation, whichever comes first?
