Was aware this could easily happen, but didn't want to say anything. Young man has to maximize his value.

He'll likely be way better/more proven as a Soph anyway, and we can snag him back then, if our fans keep it classy.

We are in a good spot to be able to absorb this hit via other recruiting interests.

in an ideal world he sits and learns this year but i can’t imagine he’s willing to do that

Wish him well if he does decide to go elsewhere but wondering where exactly he’s thinking of going? Most top 25 ish programs have to be pretty set at the guard position. MSU to play with his brother maybe? But they both play the same position and Izzo just parked a 5 star frosh on the bench prettymuch the whole year because he wasn’t physically ready. We will see I guess.

So...he can go make some money this year rather than wait, and then come back to us next season, as scheduled, but with a year of college experience. Win-Win!
