But he is a king in Tulsa..
.
Yes, he is indeed. He’s living the good life down there. He’s a potential MVP in my book. But who will draw first blood?

It won’t be too long now, and we’ll lock up this roster…without having to backtrace our steps too much.
It’s good to know we’ve had an escape plan or two in place this whole time.
It’s uncanny all the hats our coach is willing/able to wear; He probably feels like a zookeeper sometimes…truly the specialist at what he does.

I’m glad coach puts up with us.
The fans screaming about the portal…would be such a nightmare IMO… Get Carter…. & Tango & Cash…blah blah etc etc.

If I was advising the kid ... I'd tell him to stay overseas ... 🤷‍♂️

But that's just me and most people nowadays will tell these kids whatever they want to hear so they can get their cut ... NIL "agents" are taking advantage of these kids ...

I know a kid who got into a bad deal with an agent ... He signed for $500k this offseason as a kid out of the portal ... His agent fee was 35% ... His "handlers" were the one who recommended this guy ... And I am not gonna blame the kid for not reading the contract but dang ... You would think the adults in this situation wouldn't take advantage of kids but also the "handlers" would be smart enough to get someone to read over the contract before signing it and spend a couple bucks so they can make a lot of bucks ... Absolutely insane ...
Interesting how luring kids with only a high school education at best with bags of cash and lottery tickets to force them to sign contracts with verbiage they don't understand to make financial decisions they couldn't possibly realize the significance of could result in massive amounts of them being taken advantage of while the real money is made by those who do while pretending to do it for the kid's benefit. Who could have possibly foreseen this happening? Oh wait, every single person? Yeah definitely tracks.

This is basically like if you combined the music industry with the pre-salary cap NHL. Runaway salaries with the agents, managers, and labels controlling the millions that the talent will only see a handful of. And it's only going to get worse. I give you insiders credit- by the time you finish writing a post, what you're writing might be obsolete. Crazy times.

Watching Jamir Watkins tape. First thing I noticed was he has some finesse on his finishes and good footwork but also can flush it strong (TSJ-esque). 1.9 steals per game last year & nearly a block… nice. Would love for him to be our starting wing… can him and White both start?

Watkins also measured at 6”5 (no shoes) with a 6”10.75 wing span….

Do you both like Coward? He's extremely talented and a deadly catch and shoot 3 pt. guy. Does he have off-court issues or something?

Would someone please call me when Egor takes a plunge? Coming up empty each morning when I open this page. Starting to lose interest.

It seems like we‘ve been headed this way for awhile. Can the NCAA address some of these issues, or do they wave the white flag and just watch the carnage?
