Sounds like it's 50/50 and fluid...Where do we stand with Coleman Hawkins ??

DJ Wagner?Lot of conflicting info out there …
Think it’s more likely we wind up with a guy going through NBA process than Egor …
I’ve listed the guys a couple days ago … It’ll be one of them based on what I’ve gathered … And I know Brad’s preference but people read this board and I ain’t gonna hurt us in negotiations …
Ain’t gonna be Kaluma or Wooga …
I’ll also say … There’s a certain kid people thought was a to follow his HC … It ain’t a lock and we’re in pursuit …

Jalen Wells possibly, projected late second rounder. Not sure he will follow his coach to Stanford, former teammate Rice didn't (Indiana). Now that I've seen Wells highlights agains Arizona and ISU, I think he might be might favorite of the group. He is a true SG at 6-8, defends the other SG and plays permimeter and has handles. I like that he defends well and his hieght is problematic. On offense can take difficult shots in traffic due to his height.DJ Wagner?
I feel like he could be a real asset. He’s got some experience; but he’s still hungry…definitely got something to prove having been in the shadow of his brother.Frank Stallone?

He's got some rocky off court issues , I've heard......I feel like he could be a real asset. He’s got some experience; but he’s still hungry…definitely got something to prove having been in the shadow of his brother.
Curious to know if the staff feels like any of the stuff that gets out has hurt them this year.
Assuming yes from your comment
Indy Illini Fan: Would you consider Jamir Watkins more of a 3/SF? Or could he play (and start at) the 2/SG for Illinois? How's his ballhandling? His 2.8 assists per game, playing an average of 28.2 minutes per game, indicates that he's a willing passer.
Do you think Egor stays with Real Madrid or is another school a likely destination?
True…I have to say though, and not to be too over the top…The guy is obviously driven. The dude is a real demolition man out there….best part is he’s expendable II. But you never know with him. It could be a real cliffhanger. He's got some rocky off court issues , I've heard......

Today’s Coleman angst didn’t feel like it could be summed up in one entry. Or even two. It was definitely a five-bagger.We have had portal days that required 2 dispatches from the field, but 5?!? Awesome stuff - I always enjoy these posts and appreciate the effort that goes into them.
From the most recent rumors of interest- My list isI like Watkins ... Brad likes Watkins ...
There’s a chance we could pair up Tra White with Tre White?Of the top Wings that have been mentioned, there isn't one who was consistent against Power 5 teams. No TSJ in the group, even Trazarian White who put up 27 against Kentucky, lacked competiton against other Power 5 teams. Lathon has 3 solid games again Illinois, Indiana and Purdue but not much competition after that. Regarding Coward he has 7 games against Power 5 teams last year and average 11.5 pts. Miles Kelly, Wells (WSU) and Jaxon Robinson also didn't show consistency against Power 5 competiton.
But I believe all those player listed above would do well in the SG spot at Illinois. Of the group I think Lathon has the most "dog" in him, Coward might be the "swiss army knife, great teammate", Trazarain the "top scorer, alpha type", Wells the top 3 pt shooter, Robinson "similiar to Coward", Kelly "Guerrier type games"...sometimes he wows you and other times disspears.
