Am I the only one that thinks it's absurd that Yorkville Christian, with a Duke recruit, is in class 1A? They're winning by about 40 every game, and I'd expect them to walk to a championship.

Also Kenwood beat St. Rita. Ames moves on, Morez can come watch his Illini on Sunday.
It might not be a popular opinion but i like Morez more than James Brown.. he is more aggressive & puts the ball on the floor some

Gotcha. I'm blacked out in STL.
Sorry to hear that, but I wonder if those of you who are blacked out have tried to go to their website to see if that's true as well? I can't test it because I'm in the NW burbs, but I have watched a few live broadcasts while online on my computer here and there, and do subscribe to Xfinity for cable.

Nojus takes down Rogers. Please sign Nojus up for 24 class ASAP

They weren't playing one on one.

Is somebody who is unable to follow the Illinois scene, is this an upset or was it a toss up?

It definitely was, but Lemont isn't chopped liver. One of the Castillo twins was on fire (hit his first 5 treys). Rodgers was in foul trouble and had a poor shooting night. It happens. If they played again, I'd bet (a nickel) on Thornton.

Same. While it's debatable who's better currently, I feel pretty strongly that Johnson has the higher ceiling. That said, I'd love to land Brown too.

I was watching last night thinking that this is old school basketball. When coleman is in the game you have two players 6 9 & taller on the court at the same time but for half the game the Illini dont even boast as much height as those two provided last night. Weird to see in a high school gym.

Thanks much for posting (I certainly wasn't aware of Njie), but it's hard to get much out of these types of videos when there is virtually zero defense being played. It looks like driveway quality effort.
And it looked like the video was in slow motion or was that just the age group.

It's just a practice game for a camp featuring top players from the around the country. Everyone is going slow because no one wants to go all out for a practice.

Both Nojus and Ty were on that top 20 players in Chicagoland list. Depending on their supporting players, it might have just been a toss up.
Huge upset.

Edit: I see others beat me to it.

AHH, I know they weren't playing a game of 21 and that basketball is a team sport. My comment wasn't meant as a slight toward Rodgers or Thornton. Nojas is averaging 21 and 6 as a Sophomore and can score at all 3 levels. I think he is the real deal. That was all I meant.
